Rhiannon by Wulfsbane Rhiannon by Wulfsbane
For the second time another on the spot sketch-turned-into-something-more. However it first started out as some wounded horned fellow so when I realized I've yet to have an illustration of a female up in my gallery I made some changes to it, maintaining the horns as well as the angle.

Much thanks to *Belldandirah for helping me figure out a name for her <3

Shiat, that's sweet o_O Definitely jumped out of the thumbnail list that one. (must be testosterone vs cleavage again). I definitely like the rough, yet detailed style of coloring here. You haven't been keeping still, indeed. I definitely love the hair, and the purple outfit is stunning. Would be a fitting partner for Daemon, no? ;-)

I actually just thought about that only last night, but if she were I'd giver her a different outfit to fit the era in which Dameon exists in. I'm leaning more towards post apocalypse with that however if there is going to be a partner or love interest for that matter for him she'd definitely have red hair. I just have a thing for them in fictions hehe.

Thanks for checking this pic out :D

The textured look to the rough airbrushing on this is simply gorgeous, however you care to look at it-especially the hair

It makes the character appear sleek and elegant, which combined with the demonic aspect, but relaxed look makes way for an interesting style and air about the figure
Being the focus of the picture she is very well done in a very decent style-quite a familiar comic book style, but still recognisably Shahir hehe

She manages to give off a moody atmosphere without having any particularly strong emotions, more a look of complacence-I'm not sure if it's her complimenting the background or vice versa to create the atmosphere, but I like the setting: not overly complicated, so blends well and that window is quite intricately done with gothic style

Another excellent piece
I've probably rambled and forgotten half my points, but it's midnight, I gotta sleep and be up again in like 6 hours for college and am very tired after sorting through loads of messages :XD: so sorry if I have

She liiiiIIIIIIIIIIIiiivveesss! You drew a female, le wow.
I love the colouring on this, it's so contradictory being scratchy yet so smooth at the same time.

She's a beautiful character, without doubt my favourite part is the hair. Mmm curls...

And for old times sake:

Well done as always! If I had to voice one tiny quip it'd be that the light source doesn't look... meh, consistent? There seem to be some highlights where light could not possibly be hitting, like on her shoulder and some parts of the right side of her face. *shrugs* I could be wrong.

What I love is the analogous color scheme... the way the red of her hair flows into the pink of her skin and how that in turn translates into the purple of her clothes is wonderful stuff.

Yeah, you're absolutely right about the lighting. I never really put much heed to it just did whatever came naturally really. 'Fraid I still need some reference to help with that  Appreciate you pointing it out by the way. It always did bother me but I was somewhat hesitant to fix it once it was already done.
Curse you Anry for making it look easy :shakefish:

I thank you for your astute observation, for being the first to +fav it and of course for the taking to time look :)

Heh heh...you said you don't draw enough females...I don't draw enough males!

She's gorgeous - I love the rich, vibrant colors you used with which to color her, not to mention the slight texture in your work. It gives her a certain intensity. All the shadows and her face are gorgeous as is her hair. Wonderful work!

Thank you for that lovely comment :) I noticed that when I do draw characters of the opposite sex I get different kinds of comments, I mean like they bring out a different reaction in most people and they would take notice of even more of the subtle details. Hmm...

Good damn is her hair amazing or what.
i think they way you have done your strokes though out the image really add so much to the hair.
Even though her face does not flow the same style it think it fits very well all the same.

Means a lot to me that someone likes the hair. Spent the most time on it too second only to the face. I tried keeping it consistent, the strokes for the face but she looked fuzzy. Maybe if I did an anthro...

Thanks again by the way :)

Oh very nice...the window in the background is a great addition, and the little touches like the tattoo are a great touch. The face is very calm and relaxed, which is a nice contrast to the 'demonic' exterior. Great job and lovely design.

Thank you, I just realized that I seem to draw (or rather sketch) my women drawings in a calm natural mood. I'll have to work on that.

Although I don't know the character, I think the calm natural mood really works well with this image. Anything more would have been a bit too much as far as facial expression...anger or anything of the sort. It looks great in this situation.
