For some time I've been craving to do a fanart of this mecha from one of my fav anime series and I thought "what better way to do it than in watercolours?" This was actually my first time to ever attempt a finished piece in this medium. Still relatively new at this obviously, however I'm okay with how things turned out despite some bad decision making on the part of mixing colours
Ah well, definitely I will want to try again one of these days.

I'm really liking this. Its an interesting approach to a mecha... usually you get a really harsh feeling with something like that, but i love how this looks so soft. And i like how the top feathery part kinda blends into the sky.
Now you see why it takes me half an hour to get a comment out sometimes and I'm on broadband for crying out loud. Meh 300 something kb isn't too bad I guess.
Thank you muchly for the comment however outside of the site hehe. You flatter me

To tell you the truth though I was kinda chicken (no pun intended) to make a lot of detailed refinements on the feather, didn't even properly draw it on pencil hoping to let the paint itself do the work heh.
