Iron Man in Pencilby ~Wulfsbane

Pencil exercise. Used 2b wooden pencil for the rough drafts, 4b for the majority of the shadings as well as a 4b mechanical pencil for details and 6b for the darker shadowed areas. A kneadable eraser was also used to help with the highlights.

Used my Hot Toys action figure for reference. Took about 10 or so hours to finish I think - between 2 days. Actual size of the drawing in my sketchbook is 6.5 x 10.3 inches.

it's a great piece of art.
but, don't u think his torso is less bulky? tony stark is a guy with quite a muscle...

Well, that's due to my referencing an action figure (others complained about the same thing for the toy being more top heavy) and I was more concerned about rendering mechanical parts than movie accuracy.
