Iron Man in Pencilby ~Wulfsbane

Pencil exercise. Used 2b wooden pencil for the rough drafts, 4b for the majority of the shadings as well as a 4b mechanical pencil for details and 6b for the darker shadowed areas. A kneadable eraser was also used to help with the highlights.

Used my Hot Toys action figure for reference. Took about 10 or so hours to finish I think - between 2 days. Actual size of the drawing in my sketchbook is 6.5 x 10.3 inches.

Hehe I think I got lucky with it as recreating photos in pencil isn't my usual area. Though, I do believe that in order for lines to appear fine it's best to work with something large
