I felt it fitting to start off my first submission here with a piece representing a famous figure in the world of fantasy paintings made up by the legend that is Frank Frazetta, one of my biggest influences. For this sole purpose I visually analyzed his works, particularly of the Death Dealer in order to stay true to his character - imitating the overall atmosphere (tried to at least) which was fun actually. Did this at about the same time while doing The Crow fanart.
I really like this, in a way it almost looks traditional. The composition is great, the shadowing is excellent, and the color scheme is wonderful. Good to see it in your style, and I can see the influences without it completely covering up your techniques. Its overall a very good piece and if I could say I think its featuring material.
I have no real crts except I'd like to point out the perspective issues I'm getting on the scythe and his forearm. I think if the arm was a bit more sharper as far as detailing goes it could really bring more power to the image, though its just an opinion.
The firey orange and reds are so prominant in this picture, I dig it for the shadows.
And I appreciate your opinion all the same. Thinking back now I never really did pay much attention to the arm as much as I should. I'll have to keep this in mind for future works.
Thanks Kel

not really just that your so good.
That damn chrome/ shiny steal looks so damn nice and it dose have that real shiny feel to it.
Like Kruth said it dose look quit traditional mostly in the frey red of the back ground. That chain mal vest looks good.
The only thing that looks even sleightly wroung to me is forarm (again piont out by kruth) looks at if it wouldnt reach the hanle of tha axe.... Ok i lied theres something easle that wrist of his hand in the back look a bit fat. alothough it woul be a persective thing..
i wouldnt know.........
Amazing, absolutely stunning.
The colours are brilliant, they stand out beautifully. The pose as well, a lovely one indeed. Background, the armour, astounding job!
The first thing I noticed was the veins crossing around on his arm... It's been ever since I've seen a piece of art with that kind of anatomical merit.
And great work with the armor, it looks just like dull silver that hasn't been polished up in ever XD
