This is another remake of an old image here. Done in Corel Painter IX within a week between other stuff while using Photoshop sparingly for minor tweakings.

This bad boy is the product of my good buddy ~hellsblood and considering how mangy the old version looked like and the small file size I worked on that I had to redo him properly in higher rez so that it would also be suitable for print. Steal his idea and I won't be responsible for you if he decides to fuck you up

Feel free to comment on the character but if you want to critique just do so only on the actual painting execution.

This is incredible. I love the lighting. I love the colors. I love the expression on his face and the elements you chose to emphasize (from the veins in his arms disappearing into the murk to the light coloring of his pants... skirt?
