So I decided to redo a 6 year old piece of fan art to come out of my painting block. I chose this pic here in particular because it focuses on the faces of the characters and their subtle age gaps (plus drawing faces never gets boring). It made sense to me since I tend to draw faces by default when nothing else comes to mind anyway.

To break up the monotony of halved heads facing front like it is in the original, I tried to inject some dynamism by making each portrait unique from one another. And even though I prefer Barbara as Oracle I opted to go with the alias that made her so popular. But I think my feelings for how badly her reign as the first Batgirl ended affected her portrayal here.

Awesome stuff Shahir - your style makes for a great fit for the facial features and masks of DC characters, Batman related especially. The black and white aesthetic as well as the jagged edges on the panels work really well. Good to see your art again :) Hope you're well!
